Why do animals differ from Humans?

kanzi,-cherriesI was just listening to a scientist being interviewed on the radio who described the behaviour of Emperor Penguins, and whales when the beach, as acting as one group animal. In other words, they function as a group, no individual animal acts alone. I have written about the difference between animals and humans in previous posts.

We will never understand the true nature of the human being until we fully understand that humans did not evolve from animals. In fact, the truth is quite different. As humans being developed they cast off the animal forms until they reached the form we currently have today. Therefore, the last form that we cast off would be the ape. If we could factor this into our scientific understanding rather than rejecting it, some surprising facts could emerge.

Not only that, but we also need to understand that human consciousness develops. I quote from my book: “This picture of the evolving soul reveals that there was a time when our soul was not directly controlled by us. Then the soul belonged to the tribe under the direction of the tribal elder. By all indications the soul began to ‘internalise’, and our inner life began to arise, around the time of the ancient Egyptians. At this time we can see the development of a sophisticated culture, a culture that clearly distinguished the human being from animals.” I Connecting : The Soul’s Quest by Kristina Kaine

This tells us that if we are to achieve our potential we must strive to act individually and in harmony with all the other individuals. This means that we make our own decisions not influenced by others, or the media, and if we are connected to our ‘I’ we will make the right decisions. This is our privilege and our responsibility as human beings.

About KristinaK

Personal development author. After years of study and observation I understand that the core elements of our human consciousness are found in the way we feel, think and use our will. Yet we do these unconsciously and automatically much of the time. In all my writing I try to assist with the conscious awareness of these processes. I am also a Huffington Post blogger exploring the hidden meaning of The Bible. I refer to myself as an Esoteric Christian, with no allegiance to any religious denomination.
